Hi Guys.
Multipla 1.9 jdt 110 2001
The airbag light has started to come on - both red and yellow intermittent for a while , now permanent.
went to check wiring under passenger seat and there is nothing there, even removed complete seat and no wiring at all. Couldn't see anything under middle seat either except for seat belt switch.
Am I looking in the wrong place?
Thanks
Gez

Check your passenger seat for the 'airbag' tag - sometimes it's sewn in to the seam of the backrest side bolster, near the door pillar/seat belt. If it's not there, you probably don't have side airbags. I'm not sure what date they were fitted from.

The other airbag that can flag the fault you're talking about is the one in the dashboard, in front of the passenger seat. Have a look at this thread:

especially post #34 . Prise the airbag cover out of the dashboard - it's a push fit and isn't linked directly to the airbag mechanism - then you should see the (yellow?) connector in front of the airbag.
