I have searched the threads on this problem and found one where someone said they did find the fuse for the rear windows but they never said where it was?!?!?

Yesterday the rear windows just stopped working (both sides) and so I assumed it was something to do with the lock button, however this seems to be making the relay click on and off so I am now thinking it's the fuse... but there is no fuse in the main fuse box for the windows!?!? As I said someone else posted a year or two ago the they did find the fuses for the windows "away from the rest" but never said where?? Any ideas as to where they could be please?

Urgently need these working as it's mega hot this week!!

My handbook (2004 roundnose) says the 'Rear window riser' fuse is 'on relay/fuse holder bracket' under the glovebox tray in front of the driver. I haven't been out to have a look at this on my car, so can't tell you if it makes any sense!

That's the full extent of what's written in my handbook. No illustration, and it's not given a fuse number. Because it's not given a number, I can't tell you what the fuse is shared with either; if it did, it would help to tell you if it is the fuse that's at fault. The only other info given is that it's (or should be, at least) 25A rated.

At least it narrows it down to the area in front of the driver, and also that it's not in one of the main rows of fuses. Have you looked for anything mounted on the side of the relays?

Driver's side fuse array (under Glovebox), forward-most row, third from left, 20A.
It was the second from last one I pulled out, typical
