I see top gear as a laugh and a pure pisstake out of motors but its better than 5th gear as at least captain slow does stupid things the hamster try's to kill him self and Clarkson plays with over priced sports cars and not Dacias lol

On top gear they say fiat own Chrysler and fiat r involved in Ferrari is this term true I no there both Italian but that's it

Fiat own Ferrari who themselves own Maserati , they also own a majority of Chrysler.

Someone on here will know the ins and outs of it more than I do and also what else Fiat own, they may know how much debt fiat are in as well...

Done my own he work fiat own majority of car company's and have there fingers in a lot of designs

Fiat own outright : Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Maserati.

Fiat own a percentage of : Ducati ( 32% ), GM ( 48% ), Chrysler ( 70% ), Chevrolet ( 60 % ) PPG ( 20% )
Fiat Joint Partnership : Ford & Suzuki

Ferrari : Ferrari Engine and some Alfa Switchgear
Alfa Romeo : Fiat Engine.
Maserati : Ferrari Engine / Gearbox
Lancia : All Fiat Parts

Ducati : Fiat Electronics
GM : Fiat diesel & petrol engines for Adam, Mokka, Corsa, Insignia, Zafira, Astra including the Opel eqivalents.
Chrysler : Fiat Chassis, Brakes, Engines Gearboxes. Note Chrysler Journey, identical car to Fiat Freemont, except for the badges.
Lancia : All Fiat.
Chevrolet : Fiat brakes, chassis, some engines, some gearboxes.

Joint Ventures : Ford with the Ka ( Under Bodywork / interior its exactly the same as a Fiat 500 ) Suzuki SX4 ( Only badge different than Fiat sedici )

It goes even further than this, they are currently working with mazda on a new roadster to share the mazda and alfa-romeo badge.
