I no the multipla mk1 is 4x98 pcd but will 4/100 fit will the point 2 make a difference I no I have had a add on wheels. Before but just wanted to clear this up as vauxhaull use 4x98 and 4/100 and they fit the same hub? And no I haven't answered my own question as fiat ain't vauxhaull as other people have tryed on other cars and failed would they fit with spacers or wobbled bolts or pcd rings (plastic rings)

just to add..........
vauxhall wheels defo don't fit, and wobble bolts are a bodge
Luigi

Woble bolts alone aren't a bodge, they're a perfectly acceptable and perfectly safe way of securing a wheel to a hub if the PCD variance is <=+/-2mm. The reason Vauxhall wheels won't fit though is due to centre bore being too small. Too big is fine, that can be corrected, too small and you're stuck. 58.1mm or higher. That and offset (ET) should be your biggest concerns.

Ok the bloke reckons they come off a punto mk2 now on a rover 25 and I think after advice ill give em a miss thanks

A lot of people overlook the importance of the fit of the wheel on the hub 'boss'.
There are basically two types of wheel fitment;
1. Lug (bolt) centric.
2. Hub centric.
The majority of modern cars will have Hub Centric wheels/hubs, where the weight of the car is taken by the central boss on the hub, which is a close fit with the bore in the centre of the wheel.

Older cars have Lug Centric fitments, such as my Daughter's '71 Beetle, where the Bolts alone take all the loading on the wheels, which explains why the Bolts are a larger diameter than the ones on my Multi, which weighs around 1450kg, as opposed to the 800kg or so of the Beetle.

I found a website a few years ago, showing what can happen when you fit wheels with too-large a bore on a car with Hub Centric wheel fitment. *see below*

Basically, the bolts eventually failed, causing major damage to the car.

As for alternative wheel fitments for the Multipla, I have Fiat Coupe wheels on mine, they're still 15", but one size wider, and need longer Bolts due to the thicker central part of the wheels.

Check here for other fitments...
Wheel PCD charts
And again...
One more

You'll notice most charts/lists show a range for wheel offset (e.g. 30-38 or 35-42), and not just a single figure, never did find out why.
I'd guess that it shows what you can safely fit, rather than the actual factory fitment for the particular model.

It's worth having a read through this as well...

Note they call the central boss a 'Spigot'.
