I want to get some new alloys for my 04 multipla.
It's currently got 6.5 x 15 inch on it. I believe these are 4 x 98.
I would like either 16 or 17's for it but don't wanna pay alot.
Anyone know what other alloys would fit. I've heard that alfa alloys fit ok.
If I can confirm what fit I will have a dig around at the scrapped.
Cheers.

Hi, ive got a 52 plate 1.9 jtd multipla and ive got 205/50/16 fiat stilo wheels on it. they fit but with a few modifications needed. on the back there is a very close gap between tyre and arch (im talking a gnats pube) but it doesnt catch, also the black plastic arch liner has to be cut away a bit.
on the front they fit fine although ive found the n/s tyre rubs on the brake pipe mounting on full right lock (it didnt happen on my 1.6 51 plate multipla) so they may have changed the design or something. i know fiat supplied 17inch wheels as part of the abarth upgrade kit. hope some...if any of that helps.

Thanks for that buddy.
I was thinking some stilo or alfa alloys.
I think the 146 alfas fit..

No worries pal, ill try get some pictires up tomoz so ya can see, does look better with bigger wheels on...fills out those huge arches a bit haha.

Alfa wheels usually have a too high offset (ET). Also most other Fiat wheels have a higher offset.
Try too find some wheels from a Barchetta, they have a low offset like the Multipla.

What's the right offset? I've seen some ET24 wheels I'd like (only 15 inch - I've got tyres to fit to them already), but I have no idea about offsets...
And it's got Alfa 15" wheels on it currently - does offset matter too much with 15s?
Thanks
Duncan

I have Coupé wheels on mine.
15" but take 205s instead of the standard 195s.
Whatever you get, make sure the Centre Bore is correct for your Hub.
The Hub boss takes all the weight loading, not the Wheel Bolts.

Modern car Wheels are 'Hub-Centric', older ones are 'Lug (Bolt)-Centric' (the Bolts take all the loads) and need stronger Bolts.
My Daughter's '71 Beetle, for example, is Lug-Centric', which is why it has larger diameter Bolts than my Multi, despite being approx half the weight.

An explanation...
Hub-Centric v Lug (Bolt)-Centric
You can get spacer rings to match larger Bores to smaller Hub Bosses...
HubCentricRings
Don't be tempted by the cheaper Plastic ones.

Also, some wheels will require longer or shorter Bolts.
