Hi I'm linking at alloy wheels I have a 2001 multi my size is 6 1/2 Jx15 h2 31.5. Now I would like to no if 7jx 17 et35 would fit as a bloke on eBay reckons his come of a multipla but these numbers mean nothing to me as when I ask google it comes up with ford. Could they be mk2 wheels

First thing to do is educate you about what the numbers mean. 7jx17 is 17" rim which is 7" wide, so 6.5jx15 is a 15" rim, 6.5" wide. ET is how far from the centre of the wheel the 'mating face' (ie. the bit that contacts the hub on the car) is, in this case 35mm which is 3.5mm off standard, you could live with that without needing spacers.

Other factors you need to take into consideration:
Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) - Multipla, like most other FIATs is 4x98, which is to say it has 4 bolt holes in a 98mm circle. The only other PCD which will fit without great expense is 4x100 using PCD correction (wobbly) bolts.
Centre Bore - Standard FIAT is 58.1mm, larger than this can be corrected with spigot rings, smaller and you need to get it machined out which costs money.
Tyres - specifically rolling radius - by going from 15" to 17" rims you're going to need to get tyres with a smaller profile in order to keep your speedo correct, this will help on that front.

It depends on the centre bore and the PCD. If the centre bore is OK (as described above), and the PCD is 4x98 then they will fit. Many FIAT, Alfa and Lancia wheels are 4x98, so there should be a reasonable choice.

The tyres on my Multipla are 185/65/R15. Assuming these are correct, to go 17" wheels, you would need 215/45/R17 or thereabouts. That will have a negative impact on the ride (significantly less sidewall to flex over bumps/potholes), but possibly make it a bit sharper to drive (less sidewall flex is positive for this).

Often, when you go for bigger wheels on a car, the arch gap starts to look a bit wide like it thinks it's a 4x4 :). The standard response to this is to lower the car, but I don't think there are any kits to do this to a Multipla easily, and if bodging it without a kit, the chances of destroying what remains of the ride are relatively high. You might not care about this at all - I just thought I'd point it out! :)

I have these 17" alloy wheels which are a Fiat option alloy. Tyre size is 205/45/17, not 215/45/17 as stated in the owners manual.
