Hello all, I've just entered the wonderful world of Multipla...
WHY? Third kid just arrived Mondeo doens't fit 3 car seats. Fancied a Sha-lax-hambra but cost too much. French motors I don't like and if I wanted something unreliable I might as well buy Italian! My kids love it too, especially when we have had the odd Multipla wave at us!
So far I've had all the same niggles as the other threads - working my way through them...

My question is...If I put a car seat in the middle front chair. I turn off the passenger airbag but will the drivers airbag still affect the middle seat? Should I put car seat in the left chair to be on safe side?

I would put it in the back but don't trust 4&6 years olds not to feed baby Lego!

In a nutshell no. The passenger side airbag is for the 2 left seats and the driver just for the driver...if you wanna see how the car behaves in a crash look on youtube for the multipla crash test and you can see in detail when airbag deploys
The safest place for a child is always on back thats what the authorities says...

Cheers. I put little'un in the left seat and made my wife sit next to me. She doesn't like it but hey!
Could have the option of baby & wife in back & let the other kids fight for a front seat!

I think you misunderstood the last answer. Turning off the passenger airbag means you can put a rear facing child seat in the middle seat. Our youngest was there till she went into a bigger seat then she went in the back.
