I went to a scrap yard today and I have never seen so many multis an one place I brought a door mirror near side the one it took from scrap yard had 3 wires the one off mine has about 10 and now my mirrors won't fold any ideas mirror only cost a tenner with my new trims stereo front arial and loads of bits set me back 30 pound count believe it as so cheap for a car that fiat want over 100 pound for just a mirror if any one from essex london surronding areas needs bits message up and I get the addresas and number some one try to help with mirror only changed as blind spot glass broke

Heated, electric-folding nearside mirrors will have 7 wires and a white connector block. Offside (drivers side for RHD cars) have an extra couple of wires if the car has climate control - the funny little pimple that sticks out on the far outer edge of the mirror on these is the external temperature sensor for CC.

Most if not all ELX round-nose cars will be like this (not so sure about the very early 105 models - did they have climate?).

It sounds like you've taken a mirror off of an SX model.

My car is a 110 sx that's the one that had all wires don't have any controls apart from fold in fold out the one with 3 wires come from a 115 in a scrap yard just baffled to why the diffrence in wireing

Put the old mirror back on, and get the blind spot mirror off the scrapyard one.
It's held on by a sticky pad- warm it with a hairdryer for a few minutes, and *gently* prise it off with a couple of flatblade screwdrivers.
It'll have enough stickiness to press on to your old mirror- or use new glue.

I I did try and prise one of in scrap yard and it kept smashing will try ur way though thanks for advice

Went to a glass place today took scrap mirror off and smashed the glass when heated it up the bloke put some thick proper indoor mirror glass in to it is this against the law as all I can now see is the sky
