Hi, I've had my second (new shape) Multipla for nearly a year and some idiot dinked my driver's door at low speed during the recent icy weather and didn't leave his details... Only it'll cost nearly £500 to straighten out, while a replacement (secondhand) door is a good deal cheaper. Now I can't find a new shape door in metallic red and don't want to go to the trouble of re-spraying it, but can get a few of the old shape. So, does anyone know if the old shape door will fit the new shape? I know that certain panels don't change on model revamps and I'm hoping the driver's doors are the same.

The lock is different on the nosejob, the front n/s door lock failed and I got an ugly bug lock from a scrappy. The door open microswitch is incorporated in the new lock whereas it's not in the old lock.
It's a bit of slog to get the old lock out anyway so having done it, I'm going to live with a non operative switch on one door.
FWIW lock barrel is relatively easy to get out which hopefully is the only part you'll need if you go for the door option.
