FiatECUscan diagnostic tool

I downloaded the FiatECUscan diagnostic tool software, which works fine on a 1.6 Petrol 2004 Multi, but will not work on my 02 reg 2003 Diesel Multipla it will not connect,are there any OBd software that will work with this year of diesel .Thanks
