How many people are driving round without working front windows. The block of three fuses that are under the drivers side glovebox are not there,i have met other people with the same problem, but nobody has resolved the issue and seem to be struggling on regardless. It seem crazy that no one has sorted this one.Oh well ,i live in hope.:(

The fuse layout in my car doesn't match what is shown in the handbook. They are all there, but some have been re-sited. Not a DIY mod, that's just the way it is, and whoever's responsible at the factory obviously didn't get the handbook updated.

I'll try to dig out the sketch I made when I was figuring what had moved where. I know the fuse (25 or 30A?) that supplies the power socket under the dashbord cup holder is one of those affected, as that is the one I was trying to track down (and eventually found).

Do you know what fuse number you're looking for?

i cant find 26,27 and 28.There should be five blocks of three fuses under the drivers glovebox but the extreme left block isnt there,26,27 and 28.

Shane,

The fuses you're looking for are situated on the far right of the drivers side compartment tray once you have taken the lid out. There are only two that i could see, but i know they are the right ones because the windows fail to work if i take them out. They are Yellow 20Amp fuses with little plastic things covering them.

Hope this helps,

Michael

I've got a 1.6sx petrol and the windows work fine but if you use them while the headlights are on, the strength of the beams doesn't half drop as the power drains away to open or close the windows! Just a little quirk I suppose...
