After a nine-and-a-half year relationship, my family and I have had to say a sad goodbye to our trusted Multipla JTD. Owned since new (March 2009), she's taken us North South East and West in the UK and into Europe too. Our son was one, our daughter five when we bought her, so the Multi is really the only car they've known. My wife even cried when I drove off to part-ex her (not the wife), but she had started to show the typical Multipla problems with bushes and suspension - for the second time. She had become skittish and erratic (not the wife, mind you, on second thoughts...) so head got the better of heart and she had to go.
But how to repeat the Multipla experience of nine years ago? I needed a car that was quirky, individual and drew people's attention.
Answer: I bought a Chrysler 300c Touring in black.
But we still have our Panda for the school and shopping runs!

Very funny - but what's not funny is that it's even wider than the Multipla so there's even less clearance between the gateposts.

Thats a problem when it comes to parking, thats if you can find a space long enough.
But there is an upside , you can allways do funerals at the weekend ;) i take it its the usuall black?

Yes, it's black with all the chrome add-ons, and the funeral jokes were the first (of many) that I've had over the past few weeks.

Lovely, comfy car though.
