just a quick couple o questions need a simple answer so i can decide exactly what i need to buy,

can u replace a rubber bush in the rear shocker or is it a replacement part?

can u replace the bush in the front wishbone or is it just a new part.

does anyone have a link to replacing the wishbone??

cheers in advance

Rear rubber bush in the shock absorber (think you mean the bump stop) if its still inside the spring floating loose just glue it back in place:D.
Front wishbone , yes (i think) powerflex do various but it will be cheaper just buying a new arm and id replace both at once.
The problem with fitting the aftermarket bushes is that the ball joint on the arm is non replaceable so the bushes outlive the arm so unless your after a more sporty feel just replace the arm.
I know a few people who have bought new arms and cut the new bushes off to replace with the powerflex ones then once the balljoint has got play just transfare the bushes onto a new arm.

im just gonna buy a new wishbone for the mot, as for rear shocks the failure sheer says

nearside rear shock absorber has an excessivelly worn rubber bush.

does this mean i need a new shocker, think this has happened from replacing rear trailing arm as i bolted shocker bac on without the washer and buckled the rubber.

any help here?? cheers jtdman u always seem to have tha answer

Dont really know what is meant by that but the good news is rear shocks can be had for about £15 from any motorfactors.

Ive actually got a set in the shed for when i do my trailing arms :D.

P.s you will prob find there is loads of alfa's and fiats with the same shocks on the rear so no worries getting them. Ive got a set which i bought for my old alfa 155 q4.

ive got a whole rear axle in the back shed so hopefully at least one shock will be good thats where im gonna get my rear wheel bearing from as well.

are the shocks easy to take off i know the bottom part is easy but hows it connected at the top?

also is the wishbone secific to the multi?? or is there another fiat model or alfa with the same part

Think its pretty much specific to the multi, alfa 155 156 145 146 fiat tipo tempra all very similar but different it could be the same as the marea but most of the time the only difference is the diameter of the ball joint pin so be carefull.
