Do i need to turn the air bag off to put a forward facing carseat in the front?

I have a seat in the front middle and don't turn the airbags because there is no airbag for that seat but I think you only need to switch them off for rear facing seats.Someone one here will know for sure

Im sure i read somewhere that the passenger side airbag covers for the middle seat as well.

I would allways turn it off until kiddies are almost adult size, be very carefull as the diagram for showing the airbag off mode is very poor and gets mistaken for being on.
