| | Door Stay The driver door on my 03 115 ELX JTD won't stay open at either of the 2 stay points. The metal arm that holds it in place doesn't seem to be working; and there is some cracking sounds. Is this a do-able DIY job or does the door have to be dismantled? Thanks

Once you've got it out of the door, you'll be able to have a look at it and decide whether to a)do something to it to make it work again, or b)go and by a new one because the original's completely knackered!

| | Re: Door Stay Cheers Sicone. It's like a metal rib that sticks through a rubber gaiter in the door. I think it has notches on that get caught in 2 places making the door hold open. Will have to do some research I think. By the way your English is absolutely fine.

As usual, I've no connection with the seller (i just keep an eye out for the occasional bargain bit that comes up!) and I noticed the door stays this evening. Do a search for 'Multipla Check Strap'. They're £20 + £3.50 P+P. I don't know how that compares to dealer prices. The picture from the Fiat parts book that's on the auction page may come in handy too.
