Hi all
can anyone help with the rear seat removal.I can lift the seat but the mechanism will not release the hooks at the front of the chair.I have tried for hours plus alot of seating but it refuses to unclamp.The outside outside ones are easy.Dont know what to try next.

Is it tilted all the way forward ?

Make sure that the front centre seat is as far forward as possible, and the rear centre seat is slid as far back as possible, before trying to remove it. Might help ?

I've noticed on the newer Multiplas, the front middle seat is welded in position (I assume for safety reasons) and because it sits much further back than the other seats, it makes removing (and replacing) the rear middle seat a lot harder. The process I use is: fold down the front seat, fold down the rear seat, release the rear seat latches with the pull strap, lift up the rear seat as far as it will go (the head restraint rubs on the front seat), squeeze the release bars at the front of the rear seat to pop it out.

Getting it back in again is another matter...

From day 1 with this particular Multi I've had to remove the headrest on the middle rear seat to get enough clearance to tilt the seat forward enough to release it.

Might be worth trying.
