Dual mass flywheel

Ok all whos got the cheapest place to buy em?
I phoned a motor factors and got a quote for £230 plus vat can anyone better it?.

why not replace it for a normal one with the valeo kit?

edit: they might not do one for fiats yet, i got have a search

there a phone number on here you can ring an ask if they do fiat yet, more people who ring more chance they will make one

Allready asked and they dont do the Multi yet , its a valeo one they have quoted which should be the same as the fiat supplied one.

cheapest place i found for valeo parts ( dunno if they do your part though) was www.shop4parts.co.uk donated forum members also get an extra 10% off

Ive tried them just before , £296 until i told them ive been quoted £230 then they said £220 so not bad but not cheap enough for me yet.

Just for balance, a dual mass clutch with flywheel - they're paired apparently so must be swapped together - on an Audi A4 1.9 TDi is £740, fitted.

Ouch is a word. There are stronger ones available.

I changed the clutch on my own multipla last year, and managed to find a dual mass flywheel on ebay for a starting bid of 99p!
I've checked a few times since, and there are a few that turn up, so it may be worth a try..
But by now you probably have one by now, so never mind..Good luck.

Hmm ,ile keep an eye on it tho, to see if one turns up..

Prob gonna get the one for £230 from shop4 but im still looking , ive not tried GGB yet who are good.

£215 from buypartsby although im waiting delivery and it was orderd thursday last week.

At last it has arrived although its a different design to the old one very similar but different hope it fits as its listed as it fits all jtd multi's irrispective of power.
