Re: Emmas Multipla Mission

CORR BLIMY!!!!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Ive just seen the most gorgeous Multi!!
I was working and saw it pull up in the carpark, bloomin lovely it was! i really pinning for it now
Wish i knew what the colour was called, its really hard to explain it was Blue, metalic i think, not as dark as navy, but not a light blue either, not a primary blue, but almost, alot softer though hehee!! If anyone can tell me what colour blue it was from that discription then you deserve a medal lol!

Anyhoe it was a 54 plate and had blue tinge tints
Im in lurve

Really does show though that i should soooooooo keep an open mind on what colour i want, ive gone right off black now, still leaning towards silver, but this blue was well yummy and is on the short list

At risk of sounding a bit "I told you so" ...

I have the Multipla catalogues from 07/04, i.e. 54 plate, and there were only three blue colours:
"Jump Blue" - dark, solid not metallic
"Canary Blue" - metallic mid-blue, with a sort of green tint, depending how it catches the light
"Lagoon Blue" - Metallic light grey-blue

So it sounds like Canary Blue, like mine, as on the old shape on ebay in the earlier post (which you didn't like):

haha! think so

Yeah i remember you telling me about the blue, when i came home and told my OH i said bet it was that colour you were tellin me about, posted and ran last night so didnt search out your post informing about the canary blue.
Down side to me liking it is that i dont think my budget will stretch to a 54 plate, thats going off a local car classified for trade cars, gonna have a gander elsewhere (private sales) when i chance

Hey Emm,
I guess its worth checking that its had the front springs replaced, as this seems a common problem, along with the little things like the electric mirrors working correctly. If the front tyres aren't brand new it'd be worth trying to haggle for a new set, ours eats them at an alarming rate! The electric windows on ours have a nasty habit of going up and down very slowly, so I'd be looking out for that too.

When we got ours we noticed alot of the multiplas had paint damage on the edges of the doors where folks had forgotten how wide the car is and how large the doors are, so might be worth a quick check.

Other than that, a good test drive and check the smile on your face when you get back to the garage, always a good indication!

Re: Emmas Multipla Mission

Just back from a test sit in a Multipla. I say sit because I couldn't drive it coz there wasn't enough room for this 6'7" fella even though I drive a punto. Disapointed isn't the word. Might have to have a look for an Idea instead.
