multipla alternator change

can anyone tell me how easy or difficult it is to replace a multipla alternator. In theory it is quite simple but i see from other posts it talk about taking out driveshafts etc.. to get the thing out...

Anyone know ?

I'm trying to decide whether to do it myself or just take my replacement part to a garage to get fitted ?

Cheers

Graeme.
