Hi Guys,
i am in need of a good recommendation for the supply or maker of a tailgate door for my "pla", The Guard that i bought from Fiat is "pants" for want of a better word and due to the fact that my boot is unreliable, i am in dire need of someone who makes or can recommend a manufacturer (who actually knows what a "pla" is would be great).
My boot the other day opened and the dog landed in the middle of the A22 (thanks god i chose a sensible time to trun into the shop!, so no fatality).
So far have had no luck with MMG or barjo.

Needless to say that the boot is now shut and then anchored down so it can't do the same thing again!

Thanks in anticipation :worship:

I have used the FIAT supplied dog guard in my Multi for 7 years, I have nothing but praise for it. Mine is the one with the wooden platform which gives "secret stowage" underneath. Very suitable for a 10kg dog, maybe not for big dogs. Perhaps you have a different one.

Must get the tailgate fixed, that sounds scary!

my boys are over 20kg each so the dog guard and platform are no good for me lol, they tip it up when they try and get on it :(.

The boot done its trick again today (this time no dogs in transit thankfully) but it did nearly knock out a cyclist (he was not amused).
I had forgotten to clip hook the handle to the floor loading thingy,. So have called my local Fiat garage and asked if there was any "known" faults, explained what had happened and they have offered to have a look see for gratis love em :).

I am really really wary now about having the dog in the car though.
So tailgate guard is a absolute must as at least it is a barrier between boot and road.:eek:
