Different clutch problem

Hi there.
I've read the other threads about clutches, but they don't seem to cover my problem. The clutch pedal still feels like it always has, still sitting normally and biting nice and highm but in the last couple of weeks it's started to judder really badly as you hit the biting point. It feels like the clutch has gone, but it was reaplced (along with the gearbox) undfre 2 years ago, and we've only done about 15,000 miles since then. Surely it shouldn't be dying already?
All advice very welcome!

Re: Differnent clutch problem

Could be oil contamination on the clutch or maybe slightly warped?

Does anyone drive with their foot resting on the clutch pedal? That can cause release bearing troubles.

Hmmm - that would probably be both me and the wife. Urban driving in a hilly city, your foot's on there constantly.

Anyone know a good independent garage in/near Bristol?

Re: Differnent clutch problem

Did you have the flywheel replaced when you changed the clutch? Could be that or a gearbox/engine mount causing the judder or simply flywheel contamination. Be best to get the garage to have a look.
