Hi,

just wondering if anybody can offer advice on how to trace a leak in the coolant system. I'm loosing coolant at a reasonably noticeable rate in my JTD 105SX but can't find any obvious leak. I live in Argyll so checking under the car for wetness is not often possible ;-).
there is no obvious steaming after or during a run.
one symptom which might be related is that the cold air into the cabin is never very cold and the car sometimes steams up in side rather easily (though only during rain. i suspect this is due to rain getting into the pollen filter area due to its poor seals)

any ideas much appreciated.

Check the water pump housing - mine was leaking ever so slightly it took two attempts for the dealer to find it!

It coulf be a heater matrix fault i know Alfas suffered with a small tap at the base of them which leaked into the passenger footwell very slowly easy fix but unsure where the heater matrix is on the multi ive not had it long.
