Croma Starting problem

Question Croma Starting problem

Just bought a new Croma 16v multijet (end of may) and have an intermittent starting problem. It seems the car starts ok when cold. If go for a run and then stop and leave the car for about 10 mins it fails to restart but gives an almighty vibration/noise/misfire from the engine. You think the engine is going to come adrift. I usually switch off but if left it stalls.

Been into the fiat dealership 3 times but continuous restarting does not replicate the fault.

any ideas?
