Never been, just trying to find places that would have enough parking.

Re: Midlands meet January 22nd 2017

Hatton locks looks ideal, thanks..
big enough indoor seating "covers", and a good range of food.

any other suggestions..??
other wise I'll get this up as an event thread..
speak to the cafe and organise a time to get there,

Charlie

Re: Midlands meet January 22nd 2017

Looks good, I'll try to extract myself from a working Sunday.

Google Maps says 45 mins, from Pear Tree using M40, or 1hr 6mins using A44/A429, avoiding motorway.

Warwick services is good for me. Can avoid going near Oxford, straight up Fosse Way, join M40 at Gaydon, just before services. Time?

Re: Midlands meet January 22nd 2017

Destination time is 11am. Last stretch will be 15 miles approx, assuming we don't get lost ! So, one would assume that anywhere between 10.15 and 10.30 would be fine ? Charlie as navigator gets final say ...or should that be Heather ?
Thanks portland_bill thanked for this post

Re: Midlands meet January 22nd 2017

Using Google Maps, with the satellite and street views, it appears that cars are directed first left entering the site. If we turn immediately right into the parking area, we are furthest from the building, so most likely to find space and be visible to each other easily.
