Locations for future meets. MI

Locations for future meets. MI

how about a Similar Diner meet , but around Monmouth,
(A40, good access from M4, and o.k. from M5)

first Sunday in March =

"March Monmouth Meat" ,

any thoughts,

Great location -- and with great access, as you say. :worship:

If you're talking about 2 March, then I'm in; and happy to either set up an event thread, and/or PM the usual mob...! :)

If you want to PM me the names of those locals, can add them to the list. We should also try and hunt down some of our Welsh brethren... -- deeyup may know of a few....

PS: RaulCarnahan... -- do you know anyone out your way (including you, of course...!) who'd be interested...?

Hi Stephen, :)
I didn't want to impose.. BUT your'e far better organised at this stuff than me..,

A new thread would probably be ideal,(y)
AND PM all that have attended MI events before ( not a VAST list I know);)

this is the Cafe in mind..!!http://www.yell.com/biz/jo-s-place-ltd-ross-on-wye-6999032/

I had already sounded out the ( southern)Welsh contingent..they were actually the LOCALS I was referring to, as It's a nice 1 hour blast from Cardiff.:slayer:

great to hear that MY locals may make the trip as well though..:D

Weather dependent stuff.. BUT there is the Dean Forest in 1 direction,
Raglan, ETC ..castles in the other , and Symonds Yat 10 mins down a country lane.Pub at end..!!

Travel time for me..(Oxford) is 2hrs and 112 miles on M4 including the TOLL:(

BUT if I go A40 from Oxford it 30 miles shorter, same time AND Free of tolls, nicer Drive too..!!:D

West Mids should only be @ 50 mins,
and Sweex has got NO EXCUSE..!!:p

Probably too far for me at this time of year. Don't think I want to be driving 3 hours each way in an old car in the dark lot up by 1/2 a candle power. (n)

Make it later in the year & I'd go to that as it's a lovely area. Up & down the M40 is going to be easiest for travelling distances for most people - that's why Coventry got people from down South & Silverstone got a good turnout from everywhere. Just my thoughts - I'll travel further in the Summer (y)

Btw how is Monmouth the Midlands?? :D
