hello there people i think its about time i get people ideas for a date for my leicester meet in october, unfautunately im away on holiday from the 21st so the six choices we've got are;
october 5/6th
october 12/13th
october 19/20 th

ive allowed multiple vote choices so pick all the ones your free or just pick the one youd like it to be. happy voting:)

this is the link to the event idea thread. its a fair bit off topic due to underlying circumstances with benny279 's beloved punto dying ;) but im trying to ammend that and get it back on topic. ive just posted and updated the thread and given many more details about the planned meet so can and have agander at that :) and then come back and vote

Saturdays are generally out for me; but, depending on meet time, I could possibly make the other Sundays (I've voted for the 13th). :confused:

Just that I have advanced driving lessons (for IAM membership), on alternate Sundays -- but don't know whether they're going to be 09:30 to 11:00, or 11:15 to 13:00, yet. Could always catch up with you, if it's the latter... -- as I'll be in Warwick (i.e. already halfway there...) for them.... :eek:
 
I've picked all saturdays as they are generally better for me but with advanced notice, any of the sundays will be fine so lets just say im up for all dates until we know for sure! Haha.

No: only a date, I'm afraid... -- and the poll -- by MrMurray20 -- is already up. I shall be PM'ing everyone in a couple of days, to give them a gentle nudge! (Sorry for the lack of a link: but I'm on my phone....) :eek:

Once we've all got together at the meeting point, we can then decide where we want to go. (y)

Not a good idea, need a purpose otherwise you end up staying at the meet point far to long
(unless meet point is somewhere really nice)
I can spend my Sunday in a Tesco Car park at home

If I could throw into the mix, I think we should do the Geocaching meet on the 6th October as it'll still be warm-ish. And move this to November if people agree? If not just tell me to bugger off. :p

Well In the event thread I've posted links to several different locations where we can meet and equally are all good for photos. And then there a few different pubs around the area of around 10minutes drive away or less. I'm just looking into menus and prices of things first though. I'm sure bradgate park and surrounding fields and such will have plenty of Geocaches dombooth. It was very fun doing that.
