Hello fellow MI members and FiatForumers!
So I've decided to revive the Punto MK2 that packed in on last sunday (MITCAR) unfortunately that was the worse time of my life!
So, this where you lot come into this, I am asking nicely if anyone would be interested in attending the next MI Meet which homeward has kindly said it can be the next meet where everyone will come together and all chip in and strip it down and put a new engine in, we need a lot of man power for this, it's not a simple task no but we can all pull together and bring it back to life, I even have the PDF version of Haynes for the Punto MK2 so we can rely on that as well for guidelines!
I will provide food and coffee/tea/squash whatever as in return for your hard work, let's make this a first FiatForum mini meet Engine Rebuild!!!
Let's all discuss a date that is suitable for everyone!
If anyone has any tools laying around in their garages, sheds etc please bring them with you we will need as many tools as possible!
Downside to this I would need someone to collect the engine as its in two (bottom end and cylinder head).
Anyone that's got mechanical knowledge feel free to come along, more the better heck we will even take pictures of our success!
You guys up for it?
Reuuk , dombooth , Wisey , MrMurray20 , Petento
Thanks,
Ben
