Re: My 'barth

must admit the stilo interior is nicer than the bravo, a lot nicer.
maybe i'll get one when the prices plummet after the new bravo (GB?) comes out. do they do a 2.4JTD?

Re: My 'barth

i saw the interior and its much better than mine, plus i've been watching stilo prices fall a lot lately and they're almost at the 'too cheap to miss' stage. i'm a sucker for a bargain maybe he wasnt bald when he desinged the stilo

actually i got a new insurance quote on an s1 rst last week after our conversaiton got me going again and its not good, £1200 tpft, which is more than i'm willing to pay so i need somthing to get me though another couple of years until the ban comes off my license. i thought about an alfa 156 jtd but they cost too much, so maybe a stilo jtd would be a good second choice? i still hate the back end of stilos but its nothing i cant sort out. either way the petrol costs on my bravo are starting to take the pess.

what do they drive like? do they feel stiff and safe at high speed?

Re: My 'barth

Well mine's real stable but thats a lot down to the eibachs & bilsteins, I've not had the pleasure of a Stilo Jtd but my ex has got the punto Jtd and I cant imagine the stilo losing much of the engines characteristics... Great engine! They actually build the schumacher abroad with a 150bhp Jtd engine. That would be fun with a remap!
They are a great car though!
As for the rear end I must admit the bravo is very pert!!

Thats a scary ins quote!! A freind of mine drives a golf 2.8 4motion after a ban and he's paying 3.5k!! needless to say he is minted!
