Mr Fiat's Bravo

Not posted for awhile so thought I'd post some pic's of my Bravo, there a little out dated, about a fortnight ago decided to pay Power Flow a visit . They sorted me out with a lovely twin tail pipe setup which I've gotta admit sounds awesome. Anyway:

First one is with original mirrors and upgraded headlight bulbs:

Second is with DTM style mirrors:

Since pic's where taken I've had the Power Flow system fitted (Hoping to take some pic's of that tomorrow...depends when I finish work), also got myself some abarth style number plates from my trip to donny, replaced the old Bravo handles with some new ones as they'd perished and reverted back to the original Bravo mirrors as the DTM one's were a little on the small side and a pig when it came to parking.

Next mod will either be the interior as I'm not keen on the multi coloured patch work upolstery or a turbo conversion, I'm thinking the latter

If you've been t powerflow have a damn close look at all the welds and hangers. They are well known for being hit-n-miss when it comes to quality. If you do have any issues make sure you hold them to their lifetime warranty, and ask for the repairs to be done by an experienced engineer. The gf's dad's Tipo got done by a guy who travelled from the Newcastle branch to Yarm (about 50 miles) - Maybe Yarm are only used to dealing with Corsas and Fiestas?

Re: Mr Fiat's Bravo

@ Hellcat

A few of my mates have said the same, TBH my 'Power Flow experience' has been fine, I think it depends on where you go and who's fitting it. I went to the Darlington branch as it's down the road from where I live, the chap who advised me on my system must of been in his mid 30's and really knew his stuff, he was also involved in the fitting and tuning of the system along with another chap.

After it was done I checked all the seams/welds and hangers for myself and the job was faultless It's back in on Saturday for a routine check by Power Flow themselves.

Guess it boils down to how experienced the person is and how seriously they take their job. I always make sure I use garages with fully trained staff and you can usually tell after the first few minutes of nattering to the mechanic(s) if they'll do a decent job.

Re: Mr Fiat's Bravo

Cheers Wimmy, if I'm being honest I originally saw the wheels on Bravissimo 1 and immediately fell in love with them.

Anyway here's a couple of shots of my exhaust taken on my phone so not the best quality.....ignore the water/liquid on the road, car had just been washed, just incase you thought I had a leak of some sort.

Went for the twin as the Bravo pulls it off really well.

Hoping to paint the drums/calipers this weekend so hopefully get rid of the 'rust' look

Re: Mr Fiat's Bravo

@ Sonic

Don't recall ever going to Tamworth Maccy D's, don't even know where Tamworth is...me and directions really don't mix. The last 'big' journey I did was to Donny and I ended up getting me and my mate lost in Nottingham, ended up getting to Donny for about 10, we set off at 6.30.

@ Helz

I hate driving round in a dirty car, I was the same when I had my Clio. Was going to go for the upswept one (DTM Style) but they didn't have it in stock and I was too impatient to wait for them to get it. Looking back I feel I made the right decision, love my exhaust and considering the price I got it at I really can't argue.

Re: Mr Fiat's Bravo

DONT paint the drums! I did it on Bravissimo 1. Looked ok for a while with my old wheels. Looks awful with the street octanes! I was goint to paint them matt black again when I saw how back they looked with the octanes but sold it before I did.

Please just go for matt black on the drums

Re: Mr Fiat's Bravo

You read my mind, am doing the drums black as to not draw attention to the fact I've got drums. Front calipers are going red

Re: Mr Fiat's Bravo

Funnily enough.....did that to mine last week. The red callipers go really well with the octanes.

Re: Mr Fiat's Bravo

Well, weather was rubbish today so didn't have chance to do my calipers there's always tomorrow. Instead I refurbished the front grill whilst watching the match. Now sporting a red Fiat badge and a new lick of paint.

Only a subtle mod but has made a big difference to looks.

Re: Mr Fiat's Bravo

Looks good.

Same exhaust as me, twin 4" ovals. Mine points down slightly.

Just put an order in for some BK299's in Hi P Black, looked at your wheels as well as some Asia Tec Kendo blacks.
