Looks like a coolant hose to me with a broken air bleed screw.

Do not drive car until this is fixed your car could overheat severely damaging engine,
I am serious.

You will need to have a new coolant hose fitted, the cooling system refilled with coolant and any trapped air bled out.

Where in the country are you ?
Someone nearby may help or suggest a good garage.

Yep, exactly that. Quite a few threads on this, mine went and the new hose with the valve was around £30 from memory. Although I did make a successful repair and ended up not replacing the part.

This happened to me, I had to replace the whole hose.
If you're very good at DIY you can drill out the remaining bleed screw and remove it, then replace it with a "number plate screw + small [O] ring" or simply replace the whole pipe-dealer only part, note its hard to remove the clip near the bulkhead. as a last resort, place a small piece of rubber over the top and use a "G" clamp to seal the top.
Once "replaced" never turn the screw when hot.

Yep, and you kindly sent me your unused pipe allowing me to fix ours, many thanks, again.
