Nice looking car.

Don't be too quick to lower it (regardless of potholes) as that will only handle better on billiard table smooth roads. Everywhere else it will just bounce from bump to bump.

If you simply want the looks. go for air suspension but you'll need a mortgage for the setup.

How about a SuperSprint exhaust and manifold (underfloor catalyst) with tuning box to make the most of its much improved gas flow? Probably less money that the OTT suspension and you'll get more smiles per mile. ;)

Dave, any more info on the tuning mods you mention?

We chatted some time back - I had to sell my 100HP this Spring but boy I miss it and am actively looking for one again. :)

Once bitten and all that - nothing else I've owned (nearly 30 cars) has been such a hoot.

You will have to talk to Fiat tuning experts. We are told, the 100HP can't be remapped but it might be possible for it to be rechipped. Alternatively, use an add-on tuning box.

Engine tuning is not cheap. Even a full exhaust system will be a small fortune. Manifold is about £500. Cat back system a lot less. Then tuning to release the potential.

Another option is a Lambda Shifter. This is a device that sits in the Lambda sensor circuit so the engine mixture can be adjusted. They are used on some bikes I have no idea if they can be used on cars. You will have to do some research.
