Panda (Classic) Panda Bianca

Introduction

I honestly thought I'd made a thread about this one but hadn't, if you know me you know I've been waiting for a Bianca to come up for sale for at least the past 3-4 years. In January one finally came up and wasn't in too bad nick! It needs some work but has an MOT and survived the 230 mile trip back from Clacton-on-sea, currently tucked up in the garage with Serge.

oh behalf of a customer I should say. Its a twin sunny as well, beautiful
I don't think I've seen a Bianca that hasn't been twin sunny, has anyone else? Not that there's many left to look at now :(

I have an original advert for the Bianca, not sure on the date but it reads the following:
"Beneath you, Panda's comfort and ride are that which you might expect to find in a more expensive car. And above? Why, of course, A full length fabric sunroof.
Do hurry though. They're only around for summer, and you know how long that lasts."

I need to get it framed! :)

They all were. :)

Also a very poorly looking Fantasia there. :(

Not much to update on this one, but currently attempting to get the DVLA to fix my V5c becuase currently there is no model at all listed!

V5c.JPG

After around 6 weeks since I sent my V5c back I got a nice letter saying I'd need to contact Fiat and for them to provide proof of its model.. Well its not a no I guess!

Called Fiat and must say I was amazed at how slick they were, phone rang for no more than 5 seconds and a person actually picked up! No awful IVR to deal with! They knew exactly who I needed to speak to and put me straight through. Spoke to a chap called Simon Davenport who asked me to e-mail him a few things over to him and he'll get back to me.

Sent Simon the e-mail today so fingers crossed I get the answer I want and can get the DVLA to update their side.

Long time no update. So unfortunately the Bianca failed it’s MOT. It’s now been with Freddy for some much needed TLC. Repairs to body work, new exhaust center section, tires all round and brakes overhaul later it has now passed with no advisories! So in some form of order, here are some pics for your viewing pleasure:

I did the rear brakes on mine too over the easter weekend. Splendid job on the welding and repaint!

I wanted to replace my cylinders but these are still good- and lucky too ashy brake lines are completely rusted in lol
