Bravo Bravo Sport T-Jet 150

Introduction

Hi, recently got a Bravo Sport T-Jet 150. I used to have a Suzuki Swift which I loved, but it was modified so insurance was really expensive, so I started looking at new cars.

I wanted something a bit bigger so that it was more refined on the dual carriageway, so I was looking at Ford Focus' and Vauxhall Astras at first, but then I came across the Bravo which was better in almost every way - looks, performance, equipment, and cheaper insurance too! I just hope the reliability is as good as everything else about it, especially after owning a Suzuki for 3.5 years with zero issues.

I'm going to try and keep this standard or I'll end up in the same situation as I was with the Swift. But I might tint the windows at some point, and probably a new radio (I'm missing Spotify after discovering Blue&Me doesn't support A2DP).

And one question, I found this box thing behind the panel where the OBD2 port is. Is it something to do with the Blue&Me system?

Blue&me is behind glovebox/centre dashboard isn't it? My car has B&M but doesn't have that,

Googled meta system & seems to be to with imaging tech so may dash cam?

Meta use to be the make of the alarm system fitted to most fiat cars, or the upgradeable components to make the alarm system CAT 1.

It may have had this changed or added at a later date due to location.

Nice car ?

Have a look here: https://www.fiatforum.com/bravo/163544-bravo-meta-alarm.html

Edit: had a look into this and you should have a little separate key fob to activate the alarm. The bit your seeing is fig 23 in that picture!

Thanks guys, looks like it is an alarm/tracker. I thought it might be something to do with Blue&Me because of the IMEI.

Didn't get a key fob for it, I might see if I can get one programmed at some point though as that could reduce my insurance.

You could buy this of eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231931357988?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

and connected the new control module as all the wiring harness are there, then you'd get a key fob and full functionality. Not sure you can just buy the key fob?

or this is a better price:

New the kits are £250-300 from a dealer plus fitting. Was thinking of getting the one off Facebook myself.
