So basically I have a fiat Punto Active sport 2004 MK2b and I'm in a bit of a sticky situation.

A couple of months ago I was driving home from work and I hit a deer, lucky the car was mechanically undamaged but I had to replace the front bumper.

Because I could find one locally and fast I fitted a blue bumper to my red fiat. It worked for the time and meant I could go to work and school and was back on the road quickly, however the ridicule from my mates now is getting annoying because to be honest the car looks like a joke.

I've been hunting and hunting for a red bumper but they seem so rare. Respraying is just far to expensive and I don't have the skill or space to do it myself. So my question is 'for £90 or under is the an easy sulotion?' I was specifically wandering if any other punto models fitted the active sport that may be less rare? The MK3 looks very similar...

Please help me :worship:

This wont help your situation as such, but I wouldn't worry about it!. I have driven blue cars with a red bonnet, white cars with blue wings. .. others too. People used to rip into me, so I waved at them standing in the bus stop as I drove past!!

Dirty, crappy golfs / polos have on place on this forum............ :D

Either live with it - it makes the car more memorable....

Fork up the cash to get a proper respray

Or wait to till a decent one comes into play

Also the front bumper on a mk2 wont fit
A mk3 (aka grande punto) wont fit...

Its gotta be a mk2b (2003 - 2006)

This is my car, maybe not as cool as the polo guys ;) As an economy measure, since taking the photo I've carbon black wrapped the bonnet. Was cheap but also very fidley.

Cheers for the help as its meant I understand theres no 'easy' fix

UPDATE: Self resprayed the bumper for £35 and wrapped the bonnet (using a hair dryer  ) for £12 :) Cheers for the support helped me realise I didn't need to just pay up £500+ I don't have because of peer pressure and I have grown more fond of the car after some weekends with it
