Ha Ha yes we have all been there "I'll only do a little bit then just use it" - and that's from the man who already has build threads on a Shumy a Cinq and a Landy! At least it's not another yellow one, those of us following and enjoying your posts would be getting very confused lol.

Lmfao very true the Schumachers going next weekend hopefully so that's one less car

Yellow cinq will probs be close to a full nut and bolt re build once I know the engine and gearbox is okay

And the landy well that was meant to be finished 2years ago so it can wait a little longer or atleast till my dad gets bored of sorting out stuff on his disco

I've got plans lmfao but will so how it all plays out

Well over the weekend I decided to have a look at the brakes long story short they need a full rebuild on the rear good think I've got left over parts from when I converted the seicento to disc

Then robbed all the sporting seats out the yellow cinq as i'm not going to be using them

Hope you don't lower it... (n)

Keep it tidy and simple, steel wheels and decent Fiat trims, or maybe cinq alloys!

Clean straight basic Cinqs are cute as hell, very few left now sadly. :(

She's getting lowered as I've already got the springs and I can't fit them on my yellow Cinq and obviously the Lancia wheels are already on it i'm not going mental just going to make it nice and clean really

To be fair, the car does look quite jacked up on those springs, is it just that weird optical illusion effect when you put bigger wheels on a car and somehow they magically don't seem to sit right in the wheel arches?
they're no bigger then sporting wheels think the tyres are the same size as what you'd get on a sporting too the stock height of an 899 makes them look really small

Well that's the brakes nearly 100% finished just need to make some brakes pipes for the rear

So here's all the rear drums swapped over

Oh an swapped the front discs gald I checked becuase the old ones were wafer thin
and happened to have the drilled discs that I want to put back on the yellow cinq so I've decided to run then for now on the front to clean them up pictures make them look worse then they really are then when the time comes I'll swap the New solid discs off the rear of the yellow Cinq and fit them with new pads IMG_1476564470.570799.jpg

Rear wheel bearings changed doing the rear brake pipes tomorrow after I've picked up yet another cinq it's not for me this time it's for my mom

Edit I've just realised how bad I am at taking pictures mid job

Got all the rear lights to a set of sporting lights as the tinted ones where done fairly poorly and fitted an led reverse bulb

And done all the little things I needed to do get the rear lights working and bleeding the brakes

Just need to work out why the I've got no live to the stereo

Well yesterday was spent actually bolting the wheels on properly (long story) and a quick test drive up and down the road to find the clutch is slipping once it gets warm might not of helped the fact I was left foot braking up and down the road to clean the front discs but anyway I'll slacken the clutch cable off abit see if that helps other wise I'll have to nurse her till I can find time to get her into my place or the old mans work to replace the clutch

But anyway she's nearly on the road as soon as the Log book comes back I'll be able to tax her as I've had to send off a v62 but nearly there

Sunday seemed like rear bumper day liked put it this way the there's nothing left of the rear bumper brackets and the bumpers pretty well past it's best with nearly all the securing bolts are broke so I'll be needing to fab up some bumper brackets and get myself a rear bumper but today is not that day so looks like I'll be fixing it on with some cable ties

Oh and the slipping clutch turned out to be an over adjusted clutch cable only time it slip now is if you try and wheel spin it but being a sensible driver how many times am I going to do that lmfao
