Its a 1.3 mjet 'lounge' in voltare blue. Just love the colour!!

Opinions, comments etc welcome.
Ok I've officially just been a spaz and it was just i put the fuse back in wrong place and it needed a battery. The old battery was on charge all night and reads 12.6v, stuck it in and same, stuck new battery in and it lives. Just had to clear out about 300 million codes with MES and everything is well with Sulley again (y)

Ok, question or couple of for you all..

The small plastic panel that goes between the windscreen and sunroof... The paint is peeling off ours and it looks terrible.

Now I could take it off, sand it, prime and paint it - but I think it would just be easier to just buy a new replacement. However, I cannot find it as a part on the eper only the whole sunroof. Anyone got any idea if it does have a part number i can search for.

And secondly, has anyone actually taken this bit off - I presume I can get it off without taking the whole sunroof out, perhaps pull down the headliner and there is some clips or screws or something. Just wondering if anyone has had it off before i start pulling the car to pieces to try myself.

OK, so I might have bought Mrs Blu a new car, collecting this weekend. So the little 500 will be up for sale soon. Will write a proper ad once I have got round to giving it a proper clean and stuff but if anyone is interested drop me a PM. Its got just over 55k on it now and I will prob give it a service and put fresh 12 months ticket on it before it goes.

Oh is that why you're up the road this weekend :chin: Do I know what car you're getting?

Well my cousin is gonna buy the 500. Not sure when she is picking it but said I'd service it for her even though it's not yet due.

So genuine filters and oil ready to service it at weekend.

Actually looking forward to it going now as there is not much room on the drive atm lol

It's been a great car and think Mrs Blu is still a bit upset about it. Sure she will love the 100hp though once she gets used to it. I certainly much prefer driving it to the 500 but that's mostly cause I much prefer petrol engines than anything else really.

Well its mostly ready to go now, did all the servicing on Saturday and then @Sweex came round to help me clean the outside on Sunday, typically the British weather tried to stop us from doing so and rained all day long.

We used some of that Dragon's Breath stuff you see so many videos of online these days and its actually really good, so much so that i immediately bought a bottle for myself when we finished, along with some clay clothes - omg so much faster than claybar!!

Here is a quick time lapse Sweex took. It all happens pretty fast but was cleaned wheels, rinsed, foamed, rinsed again, dragon breath over whole car, rinsed again, hand washed, rinsed, clayed and rinsed and then we put the gazebo up. We decided to stop it once we covered the car as didnt think it would work well as was a bit dark under there.. but after that we dried it and polished and sealed it etc. Looks great, cleaner and shinier than the day I picked it up without question.

Just need to clean the inside out properly now and its ready. I think its going the weekend after this one coming. I will have to rinse it off again by then but its not being driven now so with all the products on it a quick hose down and will be spotless again. ;)
