Panda (Classic) Never Say No To Panda (Conservation Project)

Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm a Newbie to the Forum and a Newbie to the joys of owning a classic Panda 4x4 however, with the help of a few good friends we've bought a project and look forward to keeping regular update on this thread.

Looking forward to the coming weeks, months and years and the adventures that follow .....

First image of what is likely to be an exciting project early 2016 !
Welcome.

Safely transported your "1988 silver 4x4" (see earlier thread) home with aquamarine 's help today.

Thanks to AndyPanda4x4 for great help, encouragement and generosity. - We were as polite as we could be to your neighbours but I'm not sure if the looks on their faces said:
"Thank goodness that's not staying on his path."
"Are they nicking that?"
or
"I just wish it would stop raining, so that Andy's Pandas rusted a little less quickly."

Fun operation making new connections. Saving a worthy car (hopefully) and having a laugh along the way.

Managed a few hours today. Welded up some holes in the rear panel and fitted a rear bumper for the first time in a few years.

Wired up the number plate lights - difficult soldering the black corroded wiring as Andy's found too but all the lamps now work..

Found that the rear left lense mounts are broken though, - has anyone got a spare please?
