500 My 500 S 105HP Electronica blue

The comments I've had about the colour is great, everybody loves it. Even the lads at work who don't really like the 500 like mine.
Also the looks I've had while driving around, sort of a confused look as though to say " did that noise come from that" is hilarious.
I must admit what a wonderful little car, and I've had a few.

Cheers all, good to know that I made the right choice.
I've just been out having a good blast for the past couple of hours, and enjoyed every minute of it.
One thing I did notice tonight is that the blue still looks amazing under street lights, however the boot and interior lights are a bit naff and need upgrading.

That babe is beautiful!!
Gotta love this color, i think its the prettiest to fit the 500.
Have fun with it and congrats!

Well over 1 week in and my god is this car a little pocket rocket, already covered over 530 miles and loved every mile of it.
I've seen fuel consumption as low as 9 mpg ( instantaneous) on full turbo boost, and as much as 88 mpg cruising. The average at the minute is 43 mpg, but to be fair that's with a lot of full 105 HP driving and shocking some " more upmarket" cars lmao.

I've done a couple of mods which are LED interior light and COB LED boot light, and also installed a rear facing dash cam. I'll be adding a front facing dash cam when I get a mini 0806 with OBD hard wire.

All in I'm a very happy Fiat 500 S owner.

Here's some pics of a few bits I've been working on.
They are blue chrome vinyl wrapped aluminium plates, I didn't like the plain aluminium so brushed them, but didn't like that either so took to vinyl wrap. Still need to do the one for the rear cup holders.

Well here she is my lovely 500 S.
Picked her up with just 7 miles on the clock, and already over 200 miles now.

Love the interior! im 14 plate and looks as if they have changed a fair bit in terms of interior. also 105 HP?! jealous! i do love my car but that is one thing i would change. i have a 500s in Tech House Grey and only a 1.2... :(

The interior is missing the handy little storage bin on the gear stick centre console :(, I ordered one from a breakers which arrived today.....but its a black/grey compared to my black/black interior :bang: Other than that the interior is pretty much similar to my wife's 14 plate 1.2 ( obviously sports seats, steering wheel and tft dash on mine), although the passenger side vanity mirror light has been omitted too !!
The 105 HP engine is brilliant and goes like stink, but so does the fuel......great fun :D Also the exhaust note is great and unlike any other car. Take it out of sport mode and its still fun but more fuel efficient and I've seen 80 mpg just tootling along.
Only 50ish more miles to go and I'll have covered 1000 miles !!!!!! So that just goes to show how much fun this little rocket is to drive (y)

I like this idea! Wish mine had come with aluminium card things!

They aren't too hard to do, although cutting the aluminium takes a bit of time and a steady hand.
The hardest part is taking an accurate template of the inserts.
Other than my time and some dremel cutting discs its cost about £10 to do, that's for the aluminium sheet ( still got enough for another set) and the vinyl wrap ( just enough for my set only).

Might get my dad to do the cuttnig. Saves me doing it and he's got better tools.

I've got so much vinyl hanging around now! Tempted to get some black/grey and go over all the chrome.

An A4 sized sheet of aluminium will be enough for both cupholders, both door handle inserts and the bit in front of the front cupholders ( be warned though that bit is not shaped the same on both sides of the centre line).
The cupholder inserts can be used for marking their shape, and for the door handle inserts and bit in front of the front cupholders I used sheets of baking foil to make templates. The baking foil can be pushed into the edges to make a decent template.
Don't make them too tight of a fit just in case they need to come out at some point. Also my templates were a little bit out so I had to sand a bit at a time to get the Ali just right.
I think its worth it as it does add a little individual touch, and even better when someone like yourself thinks it looks good (y)

Ahh, tin foil is a good idea. I'll put little notches in them or something to get them out! Think you've given me an idea for my next project!

I'll just need to choose a good finish! Brushed grey would be cool. Not sure if it would clash with my stickerbomb.. everything else. :D
