500 My 500 S 105HP Electronica blue

I have just reluctantly handed back a 65 plate Lounge (guess it was the 1.2 as the manifold shield had 4 bumps when I peeked under the bonnet) - first one I have driven and I rarely take to a car immediately but this one I did.

I have a question for you with your impressive 105 bhp, do you get drivers of bigger cars 'having' to get past you even thought they dont really want to drive any faster ? Our little white car had some very odd reactions from BMW's and Merc's around here

How come you've had to hand back a 65 plate ? I'm guessing maybe a loan car ?
They are great little cars, I actually traded in a 57 plate Jag for mine.

Yes I do get bigger cars that have to get past me no matter what, but to be honest it was probably worse with the Jag although that tended to be with German cars and the "Chav" brigade.
What I find amusing with the 105hp 500 is the confused look of other drivers when you take off from them on slip roads joining motorways or major A road dual carriageways.
I've had a few cars try and push me into a race but I only do acceleration up to the speed limit, then back off and let them pass. I need my licence for my job, and I'm not stupid enough to put other peoples lives at risk.
I will admit though if you overtake anyone with a "prestige" car they usually have to return the favour, it does make for some interesting journeys and keeps you laughing.
