Hi fellow Forum Members,
my name is Werner and from South Africa where the Fiat footprint is still relatively small because of historical political circimstances(Fiat/Alfa left the country in the early 80's).Was in the vehicle retail industry for 12 years of which was 5years as Sales manager for the local Fiat Dealership. In that time I sold my father a new Doblo 1.4 in 2013,based on his experienced he had with a 1993 1.1 Uno as a delivery vehicle in his business.I joined him little bit more than a year ago and bought myself a new 2015 Doblo 1.3T-jet 90Hp,based on my previous experiences with the brand, and still maintaining strong links with the local Fiat dealer, making it easy to purchase and maintain my vehicle. But,enough of me and more about my "van"

I specified it with Aircon, partition with window and rear door windows(optional in my country)I started of with a set of Racing Hart 15" mags, reasoning being that I didn't want to change the loading capabilities and handling. After that I spent some money on the ICE inside, opting for a JVC Headunit with Bluetooth and iPod function, Sony 3-way split system in the doors(6 1/2 inch drivers and 1 1/2 inch splits fits perfectely fitted on sound insulation material)and a factory boxed 10" Pioneer bass driver build into the partition between the seats, and all powered by a 350W RMS Calibra amplifier

.Then I turned my attention to outside again.I am also partner in a local business called Plastidip Welkom, which is like a sticker/rubber based product, but gets applied as a piant before it cures and becomes a sticker.I have shared the progress by adding a couple of pictures, and I hope you like it as much I do!Happy miles and safe driving!

Welcome Werner. There are not too many of us on here with the newer Doblo's.

You might want to read in the archive about the suspension problems many of us have had with the 2011 onwards cars, although I suspect an African version will likely have a more robust set up than the European ones.
