Panda (Classic) Axel the Sisley 4x4

Introduction

Hi All, as you may be aware I purchased a certain Sisley 4x4 from @onemanmade a week ago.

It was a long (ish) trip up north of the boarder but well worth the trip!

We made it back without too many hitches, first problem was I brimmed the tank and subsequently lost several liters after it seemed to just come straight out the top of the tank. Don't know if something hasn't been fitted correctly after the tank was taken off or I did try to squeeze a little too much in causing it to come out the over flow :p Second issue found on our way back was as well as the clutch bearing being noisy (which we knew of) the clutch is slipping big time, you can accelerate if you do it carefully but if you just plant your foot the engine just revs and the clutch disengages.

Anyhoo I knew it would be a rolling project and the fact its had all the welding done means its a very good place to start :)

So lets crack on with some pictures!

So a 'To Do' list is in order:
Clutch
Fan switch mod
Lift Kit
Swap bull bars
Roof Rack
Plumb in the CB
Second set of wheels (with chunky offroad tyres)
A spare numberplate for our trailer!
Investigate Fuel tank
Investigate Temperature issue
Adjust Handbrake

PS: Some of you may have noticed I have changed the name! Can anyone guess my theme yet?
Spoke to Greg at Tyres Direct. Unfortunately due to issues with supplies they cannot get hold of Ziarelli's anymore. He said I could try to contact them directly. He also mentioned that he got the order through for the Malatesta Trac's last week so these are available and are in the UK.

I have messaged Ziarelli via their website to see if it is possible to get them to the UK. Failing that I'll just buy the Tracs.

I originally bought my first set of Ziarelli Trac's direct from them, dealt with Maria over email. They arrived within 48 hours of ordering.

I know haha. Took them to a show and stuck em on there. Was only once I put them all on dragonman told me haha. I swapped em for my road tyres to drive home.

Did you do the lettering with one of those pen things, and was it a pain in the proverbial?

Colour white.
We do use them at work for marking all the product samples, writings are still untouched even after full environmental testing process.

Takes some time to get use to the ' press-in to release valve' type tip.

Worth recommendation as will write on literally any surface, good for marking spare parts and much more.

Yes mate, I bought these: 5x WHITE PERMANENT MARKER BY CHANCERY CAR TYRE TIRE METAL PAINT PEN MARKER Cutter Taper Mills BI27: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors

It wasnt too bad you just had to be careful and if you did make a mistake you had to fix it immediately as the paint dried quickly.

We could have used one pen for all four tyres but myself and my parter were doing them so we used two, seems to be plenty of paint/ink left but I dont know how long they will last once opened.
