interior is in

engine+gearbox on the way

autodata states there is no need to renew head bolts when changing gasket, but on ebay it states they are stretch bolts and need to be renewed, is that true?

i presume there isnt any guide which shows where to connect stuff in engine bay or is it?
 
anyone knows what connects here as circled in pic

should i connect all pipes prior to dropping engine in car?

also what is this, i found out some gts have it some dont

so the first pic... there should be a like a flexible pipe that comes off there, goes up and kinda across a bit towards the drivers side strut top. The alternator spinning causes a low pressure zone and thus it draws cooler air from not near the turbo and exhaust down to keep it cool - not really need on UK car so don't worry about that. When you look at pics of GTs you hardly ever see that pipe but circled in pic, thats where it goes and it just stops at the little plastic fitting - it just holds the end of the pipe.

second pic. That is the ICV on a GT1 engine, GT3 engines have a different valve on top if the inlet mani (circled in pic below). When it comes to GT2's they will have either a GT1 or a GT3 engine, i.e. there is a GT2 but there is no such thing as a GT2 engine.

gearbox + engine is in car
repacked driveshafts with grease
that pipe that goes from middle exhaust box to rear is dented and cracked on 2 places, no surprise they dont sell only that pipe, cheaper to get it made rather than buying middle box+rear

alternator wire goes to which contact on starter motor?
injectors just pop in?
can already see that i am gonna struggle hard to connect all pipes
 
i connected most of the stuff, apart from one pipe and starter wires

this pipe appears to connect to nothing, it goes from engine block to water pump metal pipe to interior radiator, cant find one picture that would show where it goes
