Not really made much of a difference tbh, 1.2 feels more driveable even if it is a bit tight because it's new.

Thats good to hear! When the sad day comes when I have to trade my Grande in, I hope to be able to find a 2012- model Punto.

Just found out that this car is back on the road according to .gov website! weird as the dealer said it was off to the scrappy in the end... am working on the new thread now and will post a link here when finished!

Sorry if this is bumping or going back off topic slightly but anyway... was just reading through this and your guys insurance took my interest. I'm 17 and at first had a 1.2 active sport 2002 punto, which was around £1700 per year, and just before xmas upgraded to a Grande T Jet which is just shy of £2000 per year on the insurance with mods. If you're still looking to make minor modifications Adrian Flux is definitely the way to go, they're so chill about it!
