Panda 2012+ Panda 85 Lounge 403 Turquiose.

Like many maybe know, i play around with a lot of wheels and tire sizes for the last 14 months under my Panda.
And today that playing around ends by knowing what fits and what not. :D
So, what do fit 100% without problems:

175/65R14" on 5.5Jx14" offset/ET35.
185/55R15" on 6.0Jx15" offset/ET35.
195/45R16" on 6.5Jx16" offset/ET35.

These tire sizes wil work even with Offset/ET numbers "max 5 down" and "max 3 up".

So what does not fit, most i tested fit but with rubbing signs, a lot on left rear, less on right rear.
Although you not hearing the rubbing (rubber on plastic) the tracks are there to witness.

So what does fit but rubs:

225/40R16" on 7.0Jx16" offset/ET31.
215/40R16" on 7.0Jx16" offset/ET31.
205/50R15" on 6.5Jx15" offset/ET32.

So back on what i have.

Winter wheels: 6.5Jx15" offset/ET32 with 205/50R15" tires, they show signs of rubbing.
Solution for 100% free rubbing, 185/55R15" tires.

Summer wheels: 7.0Jx16" offset/ET31 with 215-225/40R16" tires, they show bigger signs of rubbing.
Solution for 100% free rubbing, 205/45R16" tires.

Cheers, :D

So for the good order this is al rear wheels information.
At the front there are no problem with any kind op rubbing.
You can run 100% rubbing free 225/40R16" tires on 7.0Jx16" ET31 wheels. :D
But the rear is a different story. ;)
I could run the 225/40's at the front and 205/45's at the rear, Audi RS3 style, wider tires on the front compare to the rear, to eliminate understeer.
And i can tell you, my Panda go's round corner like on rails with those 225's up front.

Tire Set-up Bravo summer wheels.
The wheels will get two "Dunlop Sport Maxx RT" tires at the Rear, in the size "205/45R16 - 83W".
At the Front, i will use two "Fulda Carat Extremo" tires in the size "225/40R16 - 85W".
The front tire will have a 90mm side-wall, the rear tire will have a 92mm side-wall.
The front tires will also be changed to "Dunlop's in due time, but first i will run down the Fulda's. :D

With some luck i will get my wheels back from the Powder Coater, this week.
Don't know yet, what to do with them when i have them back.
Everything could change after this coming weekend.
They could be my new summer wheels, they could be my new winter wheels, or they can be sold. :D
All will be Revealed next week.

You've certainly been busy recently. So what are the plans for the Barchetta wheels, now that the Bravo wheels are being powder coated?

The Barchetta wheels are my Winter wheels, but 2 of them are not that fresh (not 100% straight) anymore and will be replaced by new ones.

The 16" Bravo wheels will be my new summer wheels. ;)

If everything go's to plan then my wheels will be back from the powder-coater on Monday.
Front tires will be 215/40R16" Fulda Carat Excelero's.
Rear tires will be 205/45R16" Dunlop Sport Maxx RT's.
Wider front tires eliminate understeer in high speed, corners, roundabouts, and so on. :D

where are the black wheels ??

Decided to make them "Matte Anthracite" instead of black. :D
They are back from the Powder coater and are at my tire guy for tire install.
I haven't seen them yet, so don't know the colour outcome of "Matte Anthracite" on the wheels.
By the end of tomorrow i have time to go and see them, will make pictures. ;)
