I will have 2 TT vents spare if anyone wants them?.

I will update this when the parts have arrived and ive fitted them
I waited nearly 2 months for this but the wait was worth it.
Picked it up from the dealers yesterday and I have to say that it looks, feels and drives better now that I own it than it did on a test drive

I'm a parrot, what do I know?

I'm liking where this thread is going. Subtle is the way to go, nice wheels and a good drop and you're onto a winner.

Pm me a price for the tt vents . How easy do the fit ?

How do you fit the tt vents? Are they a straight fit?

Also what gear knob is that does it fit lift reverse?

Re: New Mk2 Punto: Project Orange

the TT vents for the most part fit straight in. They need about 10% bodge job to get it them working ok. Something about Duct taping the insides together or something. I will have a proper look when they arrive and I start this mod. I will be able to give much better feedback to how they work.

Also the gear knob has come out of a 1.8 HGT Punto. It doesnt have lift up reverse, all you have to do is remove the plastic sleeve (lift up reverse sleeve) on our puntos, and fit a non lift up straight on. Job done, You will have to get used to 5th gear again as you will over compensate on 5th at first. The sleeve locks you in 5th easily, without it means you have to find it yourself. Once your used to it though its fine.

This forum actually lol. Found an old thread via google of a nice interior in a punto and the guy had used these vents. Read the comments and saw he said they were TT mk 1 vents. Then researched that specifically and the rest is history haha.

Nice find ;) might give it a go myself when I have the time, I'd try painting the chrome maybe a dark gray... I'm just not a fan of chrome unless it's worth it :p

Well your in luck. Ive read that mazda mx5, rx8, alfa romeo and audi s3 vents all work the same as the tt ones so you have plenty of choices.

The alfa 147 ones for example look like this -

Audi a4 ones?

I'm guessing not due to the lip on them

Would this apply to all other normal gear knobs?
