Punto (Mk2/2b) Punto mk2b 1.2 16v Sporting

Yeah, I agree with you there. However at the time I didn't realise they made 60° bends - i used 45 :(

Or I go for an S1600 Rally bonnet scoop *cringe*

Punto AMG?!!!! Update

Got the badgeless grill on, required a bit of chopping on the back to clear the bonnet catch.

Couldn't resist the AMG badge, thought it looked really stupid at first but now i like it. People keep saying "I didn't know AMG made a Fiat" :ROFLMAO:

People who have no knowledge of cars will, but anyone who has any idea of cars will just laugh at it.

I was planning 16 inch alloys with a 50mm drop. Does that work without rubbing for you on 17s?. Also Did you need spacers to avoid any rubbing?. Im tempted to still do the 50mm drop, with 16s and spacers.

It depends on the offset and how wide your rims are.

I have an offset of 35 with 7 inch wide rims and there is a small amount of rubbing when on full lock but only on the passenger side. However on the rear I'm lucky to have passengers in the back and not have the wheels scrape the arch on bumps etc. this is due to the spacing being too high so I wouldn't recommend using spacers.

I'm sure jonik can explain it better than me ;)

Been having some problems recently with the lowering, I work out in the middle of nowhere which involves driving down a mile long track filled with potholes and speedbumps and have now just had my second bill of £100 in the last 4 months to repair exhaust damage :(

This time the down-pipe at the flexi joint had been bent upwards and removed the clip from the inner CV boot...

Thinking of maybe going back to stock height and trying to go for a more 'rally' look with some 15 inch OZ alloys.

Before anyone mentions it, driving carefully doesn't work ;)

Future Plans

Getting my paycheck at the end of this month which i'm putting aside for car upgrades.

What I have planned:
35mm lowering kit - just to get the clearance needed on sh*tty gravel tracks
15 Inch MSW 85 Alloys - My current ones are getting pretty old now and i don't really like the look of 17's unless its low enough - http://www.wheelbasealloys.com/allo...nch/185-55-15/nankang/ns-2/v-max-149-mph/6624
Rear window tint
CC everything!
Powerflow exhaust
Repaint front calipers

Liking them wheels , would be better if they were a little wider http://m.wheelbasealloys.com/Product/view/id:10628 they're only 6j wide think standard sporting alloys are 6.5j wide.
