Punto (Mk2/2b) My Punto MK2

Introduction

Sup lads, I'm new to the forum and the proud owner of a 2001 Punto 1.2 8v MK2 since January. Drives and handles great :)
Also nice car to have fun with on the private roads :D
I started modding it a tiny bit already, only to create more ideas in my mind

I got these today, look great :p

Time to get an induction kit, the old airbox looks dull imo (on a sidenote, how big is the diameter of the throttle body in mm for an 1.2 8V?)

Seriously why fit an induction kit and then do half a job?

Get some proper brackets fitted to stop it smashing about
Also - the breather pipe, its venting into the engine bay = Will vent into the cabin = A hot smelly oily smell

Like everything punto's
Ensure at the 2001 age, floors become a little soggy, give it a good check to ensure its not going funny

Treat it maintenance and it'll look after you :)

Alright, it's been literally forever, and wanted to share some of the work I did to my car, and how it's changed. I know it looked really, really bad at the time I first posted it, lol. But I've learned, and I'm pretty proud of myself to be honest. Anyways, let's jump into it.

The following mods have been done.
- Letronix plasma gauges
- Changed colour of the heater dials (aka removed orange film behind the controls
- Painted interior panels satin black
- Removed black side strips
- Hornet exhaust, 2.5 inch muffler / tip
- ASH induction kit
- Painted rocker cover, fusebox and battery bracket
- Inter Action alloys in matte black (this time proper alloys instead of wheel caps )
- Painted brake calipers and drums
- Lexus style tail lights (don't blame me :p I like it in combination with the silver)
- Color coded mirrors, rear window trim (trust me, it looks much nicer) and washer jets
- LED sidelights, boot light, interior light, heater control lights and side repeaters
- Removed the black vinyl around the windows as it was peeling off like crazy
- Probably some more things I forgot :p

As for future mods, honestly, no idea. I do know that I want a Sporting steering wheel and seats, since these are about to perish.

Firstly, 150k km has been reached and did not break down once, except for a dead battery as it died due to the cold winter, and crank sensor. (y)
