Panda Panda 1.2 Dynamic Ford KA seats & Uno Wheels

Introduction

My 04 Panda with a few very minor alterations. :)
Front and rear, this pics are taken from the post where I was fitting them :)

I used to have the light blue interior (not the bubbles) and it was quite badly ripped already at the time I bought the car.

The KA interior was the newest and best condition at the lowest cost so i thought id give it a go. They are more supportive than what i took out but its hardly apples for apples as those ka seats are from a nearly new car and mine were the best part of ten years old. :)

Wheels from Uno Turbo and not Cinquecento Sporting? My blue bubbles drivers seat was very rough so I swapped cushion with passenger side , easy enough job, 4(?) 8-10mm head bolts .Might be easier to take out entire seat on drivers side but either way whole job well under 30 minutes .Barely ten if goes smoothly .Metal in bolt heads can be soft , beware of rounding .
Are Ka seats a straight swop?

I got the wheels from a guy selling off his uno bits, he said they were uno wheels. Saying that though I have no idea what the difference is between the Cinq sporting wheels and the Mk2 Uno turbo to me they look the same. I did really want the MK1 uno turbo wheels as they are much nicer, but difficult to find.

The KA interior is fits fairly easy, If youre planning to do it I cannot stress how much difference heating some of the bolts made. If you dont no matter how good your tools or steady you are the torque required can easily round the heads off.

I have decided after nearly 9 years and 2 pandas to leave the Fiat world. With a baby coming and niggly problems on the panda I have neither the time nor energy to fix at the moment. I decided to get a new car ,a Fabia estate . The saddest part is that I was offered too much under a scappage scheme to turn down, otherwise I would have liked to find it a new home. I will remove the Uno turbo wheels first.

Thanks to everyone that has helped on the various things i have done to the car and perhaps 1 day I will be back in another Fiat :)

sorry , congrats , etc:)

"scrappage" - just a trade in scheme.. NOT a HM government order that it can only be broken for parts..

I live in Belgium so im not sure where it will end up. The girlfriend asked me what would happen to panda and I said 'i don't know' and she started crying. It's amazing how attached you can get to a car where it seems as if it has a personality. I'll put all my servicing details including 10000km oil changes in the glove box on the off chance it ends up with someone.
