It looks good but you must have very flat, smooth roads to be able to drive a car so low. If you raise it you may notice the handling improving.

Thanks for your concern (again) fpan but I drove 430 miles over the weekend on various different types of roads and have no problems.

Handling wise I'd say it's improved slightly since fitting the coilovers. Less body roll and a lower centre of gravity. I don't drive that hard for these to be hugely noticeable though

The misconception is that a lower centre of gravity reduces roll but often the opposite happens due to the roll centre being upset.

I can't think of a single instance where a lower centre of gravity wouldn't improve body roll.

As long as the roll centre stays above the ground, lowering a car will generally reduce roll that's why most cars respond well to moderate lowering (~2cm or so).

When the roll centre goes below the ground (which is usually what happens when a car is lowered more than 2cm or so) body roll will increase.

The problem is exaggerated as most aftermarket springs are too soft for the amount of lowering they provide.

It definitely rolls less since the coilovers have been fitted.
If my centre of gravity has gone up, down or below ground the coilovers will be staying on :) :thumbup:

No, the roll centre is one of the variables that affects body roll, in fact it's the distance between the COG and RC.

I love owning the 100hp Panda because of the rarity of them. I've hardly ever seen them on the roads :) Me and jatkinson counted 7 red Alfa Romeo 4Cs at Brooklands last weekend compared to only 1 red 100hp Panda :D

I like that, what is the colour you used for painting?
:) I dont know the exact colour code but its very similar to the original paint. I asked the bodyshop to use the closest colour they had
 
Such a great looking 100hp and your right about the rarity, I was chatting to a neighbour of mine who was chuffed that he'd only seen two other golf edition 30's that week.. he stopped smiling when I said I hadn't seen another 100hp in the flesh this side of Christmas
