Punto (Mk2/2b) My daily

Introduction

Fat Amy

Thought it was about time I showed you guys a very few pictures of my 2005 mk2b.. It's the trusty old 1.2 8V! I got it back in end of January this year, when my grandma decided it was time to buy a new car - so it's well taken care of, under body sealant and low mileage (only done ~111500km now).
I obviously have no intentions of keeping it stock, and seeing as I'm into HiFi, the first thing I got for the car was a new headunit and door speakers. Wait till springs have settles
Itll drop a lil more yet

Ziggu

It will indeed - need to raise the front a bit, before it becomes so low the jack doesn't fit underneath it anymore ;)
It's even more crazy how it can still be lowered another 50mm on the front end.. How would it then drive? I scrape the stabilizer mounts if I leave my driveway in a straight line.

Scraping = stress and damge

Only scrape because the driveway looks similar to this (the one on the left) https://goo.gl/maps/byTpr
I just need to drive over it at an angle, then there's no problem. Speed bumps isn't an issue.
I did raise it ~5mm this evening though. The jack didn't fit before I lifted it in the arches. I need a new jack :rolleyes:

I was a little short on time today, but decided to do a quick test fit of my new Abarth bumper, that I just got home :slayer:
Just a bit of sanding here and there, and it will be off to the painter (next week I guess)

Have you got a link to the website for your abarth bumper as i cant find it on the internet anywhere, looks good

how did you do the flat floor mod if you dont mind me asking as i use my 5dr as more of a little van than a car and would love to do this

A piece of 9mm MDF, no wider than 118cm (it will just squeeze through the boot opening with rubbers pushed to the side). Front is supported on a 2x4" all the way across, and then I'm using countersunk 8x130 stainless bolts (ordered through Westfield fasteners) in the original rear seat mounting points up front.

My new rear silencer from Ragazzon finally arrived! Just ordered a bit of stainless tubing and a flexi pipe this afternoon, so I can have the centre piping made up. Hopefully it all goes on Friday after work and I can get it back on the road!
